I am glad that someone in the family is proud to be an Oregonian. (see below)
Also in 5 days at this time I will be on my way back and recovering from my half ironman distance triathlon. In 7 days I will be recovering from a preliminary interview for a position at a nice law firm in Downtown Portland. I am hoping both go off stellarly (if that is a word--if not, lawyers are known for trying to make up new ones).

Just so you know that it did rain this morning but this afternoon was stellar! Sunny and high 60's. The boys and I went to the Rose Festival fun center down on the waterfront and had a blast. Go Oregon!
The weather here is not much better here these days. Devin, I know my parents' house might not be as cozy as an SUV, but you can stay at my parents house in Burley for the Vikingman if you want. Depending on how many people show up, you may have a bed or you might have to suffer on the couch.
Ha, Suffer on couch...I would love a spot on the couch. That would be awesome! I don't mind the SUV, so if it is bothersome, no worries. I have a sleeping bag, no worries about blankets or pillows.
No worries. I called my parents last night and so far, me and Kulani will be the only ones coming up for the Vikingman. They have three spare rooms. We're not staying overnight on Saturday night, but if you need an extra night to recover, they would probably let you stay there.
Nope, I am planning on driving back and then sleeping along the way when needed. Thanks! I give you guys a ring to figure out how to get there.
