The Tank is Full

Jack announced this morning that there isn't anything more he can learn at preschool. The teacher can't teach him anything more he said. Such a prodigy.

it really isn't too funny.

He has started to refuse to do what the teachers ask him to do. And his disruption has encouraged other kids to do the same. I guess today he didn't want to play and didn't want to do some of the other activities.

It somewhat understandable. This preschool is not perhaps the best for him at this point. Next year he is going to a different preschool with a different way of doing things. The current preschool worked fine for Ryan, but Jack is different. No so much bad, as just different with different needs. Jack is currently in a phase where he feels the need to show what power he has--to control what he can. Often that comes in the form of doing the opposite of what we or anyone else asks him to do. Even if it would normally be something that he wants to do.

With him being in the middle with an often bossy older brother and then a younger brother getting lots of attention it has been probably difficult for him at times.

Interesting how every child is different and how their environment plays a role. At least you guys understand different factors that are involved. Good luck.
