Hawaii 2021

Long time no post. Most everyone winds up on FaceBook or Instagram but I think we missed out by not maintaining this blog. So we hope to start it up again. At the end of January this year we flew out to Oahu for a week as a family. Also going were Bridget's parents and her sister Tracy's family. We stayed at the Marriott Ko Olina resort. I had thought we would keep activities to a minimum. It did not work out that way though. I went out on a boat to go snorkelling. As a family we went on a zip line tour. There were surfing lessons. We had good food at the Polynesian Cultural Center. We vistited the USS Missouri. Bridget and Jack were able to go golfing. We did also spend a fair amount of time at the pool and the beach. I also should add that this was during finals week for Ryan and Jack. Colin and Maddie also had school. Because of the time difference they were online around 6 to 6:30 depending on the kid each morning. I enjoyed being with our family. Our kids are good to be around. I hope as they go off on their own they will continue to visit with us and enjoy it at least half as much as we do as parents.
