More on the Other Blog later today or tomorrow, but it was, under normal definitions anyway, a miserable day. Using the perspective of us nutty cyclocrossers, it was a perfect day for cross. Still, it was pretty cold and during a part of the 1st lap I was thinking I should pull off. Anyway, no results yet and when they come in I will post my report there on the RCMT blog.
UPDATE: the latest results have me 48 out of 77, with a half dozen others that DNF'd. That is my best finish in our series out here. I am feeling good about the training I have been doing. I have been slowly getting better...slowly. There are more pictures on my RCMT Blog as well.

Oh my goodness. I guess it takes a certain kind of personality to do that.
What? You mean not everyone wants to do this? Weird.
That race was so miserable that it became great. Races like that become "epic" in the minds of those who participated for some reason. I think that in order to appreciate cyclocross there has to be some part of you that likes pain. The good part about it is that anyone can do it, young or old, fit or fat, it doesn't matter. You just have to be able to ride a bike for 45 minutes. They have categories for all ages and fitness.
