Mr. Bucket Head learn to go Potty
Trying to get Jack potty trained has not been easy, but it has been occasionally funny. I don't know why he wanted the bucket on his head, but whatever--he is two and a half, things don't have to make any sense to us.
Nope. Potty training resumes tomorrow. We are hoping this week is it. He is close, but we had too much going on in too many places this weekend to continue the process Saturday and Sunday.
We put him in regular underwear and then let him drink a bunch of kool-aid type stuff. He will easily drink 20-24 oz of that stuff if we let him. Then after about 15 minutes we sit him on the potty. He goes and gets off. He gets 2 or 3 M&Ms. Then we sit him down again after a few minutes and he goes and he gets more M&Ms.
He went by himself and pulled down his pants and sat down after a couple of times. The problem is that he just forgets if he hasn't gone for a bit and goes in his pants.
Wow, he went by himself? That's great! I had Raquel sit on the potty hourly, even if she didn't need to go. i think that helped to minimize the accidents. After a few days I got sick and started forgetting, and she started recognizing the need. After that, if I insisted she try when she didn't need to go, she'd get really angry with me. Sounds like he's really close!!
I love our family! We are so stinkin' funny! I love this time of life...well, I love that you two are in this time of life and I can laugh at you for now...and get advice from you later!!!! HAHAHAHA

So, what is the process you are using?
